Mary Farley Obituary
Redding, CA
Mary Frances Farley was born to Bill Fogg and Ollie Williams Fogg in Crane County, Texas, on February 8, 1928. She passed away at Mercy Hospital on June 14, 2017.
She leaves behind her loving husband of 49 years Lester Farley, her daughter Helen (Steve) Bonnett, step-daughters Patty Farley and Angela (Gil) Vizcarra, stepson Mike Farley and niece Frances Merrell. She also leaves behind 7 grandchildren - Erik Russo, Elizabeth Bonnett, David Bonnett, Wil Farley, Gil Vizcarra, Jason Farley, and Ben Vizcarra, plus 6 great grandchildren.
Mary retired from Caltrans in 1991, after 30 years. She was an avid square dancer and a member of the Prairie Squares. She was a member of the Center for Spiritual Living and the dowsers.
A memorial service will be held at the Center for Spiritual Living, 1905 Hartnell Avenue, Redding, at 10:00 a.m., June 24, 2017, with private burial to follow at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, please feel free to make donations to Haven Humane or the Good News Rescue Mission in her memory.

Mary will always remain in our hearts and our thoughts. We love the way she always thought of others and contributed selflessly to what she believed in. I always enjoyed visiting with Mary at the dowser meetings and other gatherings. I will really miss her . Somehow I think she will still be with us in spirit.

I am Sharman, Bob Young's daughter, and I want to let you know how much we appreciated you and Mary's presence at my dad's memorial. I will never forget the example you gave Les, of my dad's quick-witted ability. I will remember your example. I don't seem to remember any of them that I heard my whole life!
