WOODSTOCK - Glenn John Fallon, 49, of Woodstock, died Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2011 at his home. He was born Feb. 20, 1962, in Torrington, to Richard and Lana (Rebillard) Fallon.
Glenn was an avid movie buff. He enjoyed drawing and was very artistic. He also greatly enjoyed bowling with his friends, playing chess and building model cars. He was a long time manager of grocery stores and worked most recently at Winsteds Supermarket, where he was very well liked. He was a beloved son, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, and he will be missed by all that knew him.
He is survived by his daughter, Jordanna (Robert Olah) Fallon; his grandson, Dylan Olah; his parents, Richard Fallon and Lana Rebillard; two brothers, David (Bridget) Fallon and Richard (Kathy) Fallon; two sisters, Lynn (Lance Baier) Fallon and Charmaine (Scott) Piekos; two aunts, Roberta (Jeff) Fedorchak and Shari (Robert Lewis) Beach; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends; and his surrogate daughter, Lisa Curtiss.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Mildred (Douglas) Thrall; his paternal grandfather, John Fallon; his maternal grandparents, Roger and Rita Rebillard; and his maternal uncles, Robin (Corrine) Rebillard and Emile Rebillard.
A celebration of Glenn's life will be held on Nov. 12 at P. Sams, Torringford West St., from noon to 2 p.m.
In lieu of flowers memorial's may be made to the family for the Dylan Olah education fund.
Funeral services will be private.

Glenn was an extreme movie buff. I'll miss talking about them with him. I worked at Blockbuster for many years and you could always count on Glenn coming in and giving you a good laugh. His sense of humor could put a smile on any face. My condolences and deepest sympathies to Jordan and the rest of his family. I'm so glad I had the chance to get to know Glenn. I will certainly remember him forever. RIP my friend.
