John Veach Obituary

John S. Veach Jr., 83, of Loveland died September 22, 2013 at McKee Medical Center. He was born October 5, 1929 in Louisville, Kentucky to John and Rebecca (Smith) Veach. On March 17, 1950 he married Barbara Beason in Covington, KY. John and Barbara lived in Cincinnati, Ohio for many years before moving to Loveland, CO in 2002. He attended college where he earned a degree in Mechanical Engineering. John held the position of president for Rave and Associates as well as Raven Mfd Products, these companies designed industrial machines for Remington Rand and Proctor and Gamble and radar equipment for the United States Military. He was a member of the Masons, Shiners', The Knights of Templar and the Kentucky Colonels. John also served his country as a Lieutenant in the United States Navy. He was a leader of men in and outside of work, loved by all. John is survived by his wife Barbara Veach; his daughter Lisa Stowell and her husband Michael; and 2 grandchildren John and Cheyloe Stowell; as well as many relatives and friends. At John's request cremation has taken place and no services will be held. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society, care of Viegut Funeral Home.
