Daryl Moellenberg Obituary

Daryl Duane Moellenberg died peacefully at his home in Loveland, Colorado on May 11, 2016 at the age of 60. Daryl is survived by his parents, Wayne and Margaret Moellenberg of Fort Collins; his sister, Sharyl Haas Moellenberg, also of Fort Collins; his wife, Marcia Moellenberg of Loveland; and his two daughters, Tamara Moellenberg and Chanda Moellenberg. Daryl was born on September 28, 1955, in Wray, Colorado. He graduated from the University of New Mexico in 1978 with a degree in business finance. Bank of America hired him and sent him to Fresno, California, where he met and married his wife, Marcia in 1982. After moving to Evergreen, Colorado, Daryl began a long career with United Bank/Norwest/Wells Fargo as a lender and eventually a senior vice president. Daryl and Marcia had three daughters: Danielle, who died one day after her birth; Tamara Ann, born March 21, 1987; and Chanda Eden, born November 27, 1988. His girls will remember him as a strong father who was always quick to encourage and even quicker to laugh. Daryl was an artist/creator at heart. He was generous and passionate about family and people. Over the years he served on the Board of the Denver Rescue Mission, the Weld County Food Bank, the Greeley Center for Business Development and the Greeley Chamber of Commerce. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, May 22, at 3:00 p.m. in the back yard of Daryl and Marcia's home. Please bring your favorite Daryl Story. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to either the Weld County Food Bank or the Larimer County Food Bank. Please visit Daryl's online memorial, send condolences and sign the guestbook at www.allnutt.com.
