All my memories of Bill Page are positive and uplifting. One of the earliest is of him showing up in Lubbock after the tornado in May, 1970, driving a Red Cross relief truck and doing everything in his power to help. In my memory, Bill was on the quiet side and when he shared a thought, it was worth the hearing.
I know he will be greatly missed, but we rest in the knowledge that Bill has truly "gone home".

Although Bill was in the ECC Abilene office and I was in Dallas, we got together now and then. I always enjoyed chatting with him -- usually about our family genealogy pursuits. I extend sympathies to the family.

Bill Page was a fine man and excellent leader. We worked for the same company and it was always a pleasure to visit with Bill when I visited the office in Abilene. In more recent years, after we both were retired, we would visit at the annual company reunion. Bill will be missed by many people and we extend our condolences to his family.

As their honorary commander Mr. Page always had an encouraging word for each and every one of the AFOSI guys at Dyess AFB. He was a funny man and It has been a pleasure and an honor to meet him.

I served with Bill on the Military Affairs Committee (MAC). What a fine gentleman... he was always a pleasure to be around, share a kind word, or take the time to express genuine interest in you. I will miss him greatly. My thoughts and prayers are with family and friends.
