Memories of Dixie could and should fill a book.
What a delightful, funny, kind lady, who could tell a tale like no other. I was privileged to spend much of my childhood in her caring presence and company. When she and best friend Dorothy, my mom, were together the stories put us on the floor rolling with laughter.
Goodbye to a great old friend. Our prayers and condolences to DJ and the family.

I worked with Dixie at Perry Hunter Hall when I first got out of high school. She was a very lovely person and taught me how to crochet during breaks. Sympathy to her family. Shirley Laughlin Denson
