In Loving Memory of Emily Kristen Muns, 37 - born December 16, 1975 in Dallas, Texas, died July 30, 2013 in Abilene, Texas. Emily also lived in Colorado Springs, CO and Fort Myers, FL at different times in her life. She went to Clark School for the deaf and Gallaudet University.
She is survived by her parents, Ron and Lee Muns, and Pamela Garrett; sister, Katherine Muns; brother, Andrew Muns, his wife, Kristin, and their sons, Jack, Henry and William; and brothers, Erik and Cole Leslie.
Emily loved her dogs, reading, outdoor activities and gardening.
Emily was loved and will be missed greatly by all her friends and family!
A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m., Friday, August 2, at The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road in Abilene. At a later date there will also be an interment and memorial service in Angel Fire, NM where Emily spent many happy times with her family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to Rescue the Animals, SPCA, 4620 North 1st Street, Abilene, TX 79603.

EMILY...MY BEAUTIFUL EMILY ... I'm so sad... Iknow I was your ex boyfriend. And we even live together for short time.. Did you know that I have 5 years clean and sober.. I know you're in a better place now.. I prayed for you for many years now.. I prayed for God's grace for you then all the sudden I started thinking about you more more MORE As if you were reaching out for help.. I was on the internet trying to find out what happened to you and where you were at so I could locate you and say hi and write you a letter and then I found out you died.. Now I am very sad... Heaven is a beautiful place.. ll be there with you in heaven.. When it's time for me to punch my ticket... I was thinking about all the good wonderful times that we had... Going to church together going to meetings.. Going on walk cause we didn't have a car... But we got so athleticfit. didn't we?... Now I regret not being there with you helping you... Helping me not be depressed anymore.. You said I was very good at that.. I used to love to make you laugh... I will miss you even more...... Because knowing everything you Suffered from... I was trying to call you in a few dollars settings I'll miss you and your family in my prayers in this forward.. And loving memory... Your Christian friend Daniel
