Callan Meers Obituary
Abilene
Callan Tate Meers, 3, of Abilene, died Friday, August 20, 2010. Funeral services will be at 10:00 am on Thursday, August 26, 2010 at Wylie Methodist Church. Burial will follow at the Hamby Cemetery. Pastor Greg Clemmer and Pastor Jeff Hatcher will officiate. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, August 25, 2010 at The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road.
Callan was born on August 6, 2007 in Abilene, Texas to Bryan Meers and Maggie (Moreau) Meers.
Callan is survived by his parents, Bryan and Maggie Meers; his sister, Avery Meers; his maternal grandparents, Mike and Myra Moreau all of Abilene; his paternal grandparents, Monte and Sherry Meers of Tuscola, and Karen and Dan Peterson of Hurst; his great-grandparents, Dorothy Bennett of Lueders, H.L. and Nadine Meers of Pampa, and Dollie Sparkman of Coleman. He is also survived by his aunts and uncles: Joe and Molly Sims of Crews, Dustin and Laurie Moreau, Sabrina Meers and Nic Meers all of Abilene; as well as numerous other relatives and friends.
Memorials may be made to the Cowboy Heritage Church, P.O. Box 738, Clyde, Texas 79510; or to the Children's Miracle Network, in care of Hendrick Medical Center, 1900 Pine St., Abilene, TX 79601.
