Antonio Villanueva passed away December 19th, 2016 at Renown Hospital after complications following pneumonia. He was born December 12th, 1928 to Eusebio Villanueva and Agustina Urrutia in Espinal, Navarra in the Basque County.
He is preceded in death by his parents Eusebio & Agustina Villanueva, his sister Ana Maria (Jose) Erburu, and brothers Silverio (Alicia) & Joaquin (Vicenta).
He is survived by sister Maria Paz (Ignacio) Grisalena, and brothers Segundo and Florencio, and 14 nieces & nephews.
He came to the United States in 1948 spending many years working in California and making his home in Nevada living in Gardnerville and spending the last 10 years in Reno.
Visitation will be Thursday January 5th from 5pm - 7pm at Walton's Funeral Home, 875 West Second Street, Reno. The Mass will be at Little Flower Church, Friday, January 6th at 10:30.
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to your favorite charity.

Antonio was a great friend and a fantastic Mus player. I am sure he is playing his accordion and playing cards in heaven. May he rest in God's loving embrace.

Sorry to hear of Antonio's passing, I knew him for years and years, he was a very nice man. I am pretty sure he is playing his accordion in heaven, and also playing mus. Rest in Peace Antonio.
