Published by Legacy Remembers on Feb. 4, 2018.
Mark Jerome Etcheberry

Sparks - Mark Jerome Etcheberry passed away in his Sparks home on January 28, 2018 with his loving daughters by his side. He was born on December 13, 1950 to Paul and Lucille Etcheberry at St. Mary's hospital. He graduated from Reno High School in 1968 and went on to play football at Sierra Nevada College while partaking in the Air Force Reserves. After college he completed his apprenticeship and joined the No. Nevada Plumbers and Pipefitters union. He worked with reputable companies through his 25 years.

An avid lover of the great outdoors he spent his time fishing and hunting with his Shorthairs by his side. Mark enjoyed teaching his girls how to handle a gun, road trips to family Ranches, and telling stories of life experiences.

Mark is survived by his daughters Marylou and Jennifer, brothers Paul Jr. and David Etcheberry, a niece and several nephews.

A memorial service will be held at Our Lady of the Snows Catholic Church on Saturday, February 10, at 11 AM.

In lieu of flowers please donate to the SPCA.

Mark and I were friends from the second day of kindergarten on, even though we lived on opposite coasts and were very different in our careers, personalities and interests. We got into a fight on the first day of school, sent home and when brought back by the parents were told to shake hands and be friends. I miss Marks stoic outlook and good nature. Best luck in the next world old friend.
