Mr. Kersten was one of my favorite clients, a kind and gentle man with a sharp wit and infectious chuckle. I will miss our lengthy discussions of authors, music, social dilemmas, politics, and gardens and birds. He was a very good human and a joy to know.

Bill was always warm and upbeat. He usually had a funny story or anecdote to share. We feel blessed that we knew him and that we got to see him in May at Rosemary's graduation party.

I had the great pleasure of working with Dr. Kersten at Independent Study at UNR, and he was one of my favorite professors to work with. He was kind, gentle, and eager to share his knowledge. He will be missed.

Earl was one of the most pleasant, likeable and humble people at the University. My condolences to his family. God bless his soul.
