Chuck passed away peacefully sitting in his favorite chair at home. He had no major illness battles - just an unexpected calling of our Lord. Without a doubt, he was a feisty sparkplug with everyone he met and was loved by many. He will be dearly missed by all that knew him.
Chuck served military police duty with the U.S. Marine Corps; was a Chef in his early years, then as dealer and casino management in northern Nevada casinos. He is survived by wife Norma, siblings: Brian, Joe and Laura Berry; four sons: Rush, Cayleb, Travis, Aaron, and daughter Chelsey; two grandchildren: Alexa and Brady.
We are sure Chuck is in heaven and looking to deal on an action-packed Craps game. As he would say, "It's a beautiful thing." May he rest in peace…
Cremation Memorial Service will be held Thursday, December 8th at 1:00 pm. Location: Walton's Funeral Home, 875 W. Second St, Downtown Reno. "A Celebration of Life" will follow service 2-4 pm at the Cal Neva Casino, in the Events Room on the Top Deck.

I am very saddened to learn of Chucks passing. I got to know him the summer of 1984, when we commuted to Harrahs Tahoe from Reno right after dealer school. Shared a few adventures together over the years. I always looked forward to meeting up with him at Harrahs and then the Peppermill. Wonderfull, delightfull personality he will be missed.

So sorry to hear of Chucks passing. He was one of a kind and will be missed by all that knew him. I always tried to track him down when visiting Reno just to share a few laughs.

I worked with Chuck for many years at Harrah's Reno dealing Craps and enjoyed every minute of it. He certainly made the 8 hour shift go fast. Chuck's personality was fabulous, a very funny man. I don't think he had a mean bone in his body. Friendly to all, he was a very popular person. I'll never forget the birthday party for Chuck held at Mama Lena's, very different! My condolences to Chuck's family and friends. Chuck was a wonderful man.
