Jesse Judson Holley Sr.

Jesse Judson Holley Sr., 73, of Henry, Va., died on Wednesday, July 7, 2010. He was born on July 28, 1936, a son of the late Genus and Grace Holley. He was also preceded in death by his children, Jesse J. Holley Jr. and Michael Shawn Holley; and sister, Lynda Holly Goodwin. Surviving are his wife, Ann Thomason Holley; children, George Thomas Holley, Rebecca Guffey and husband, Michael, Melissa Solomon and husband, Danny, and Michelle Lester and husband, Stephen; stepchildren, Marvin Gillispie, Margie Gillispie, and Lewis Gillispie; grandchildren, Tiffany Williams, Christy Solomon, Michael Genus Holley, Stephen (Bubba) Lester, Nichole Lester, Judson Holley, and James Lester; stepgrandchildren, Kevin Gillispie, Andy Gillispie, and Randy Joe Setliff; greatgrandchild, Ryleigh Grace Solomon; and sisters, Phyllis Holley Reyes and Shirley Holley Martin. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 10, 2010, from Flora Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Joe Dillon and the Rev. Bud Nichols officiating. Interment will follow in the Holley Family Cemetery.
