My deepest condolences to the entire family. During the few months that Aiden graced my life, he brought so many smiles and laughter. I'll always remember the fun times we had playing with Mr. Potato Head and making silly animal noises from books. Sending many prayers and warmest love.

~ Give Me Your Tears ~
Give me all your tears
and I will take them to the sea
I am the keeper of all tears
for it is I who will set them free.
They will mix with other tears
from the world both far and wide
folks just like you in stressful times
who felt such a need to cry.
Those tears of hurt and pain
of loneliness in your heart
burdens you've carried for so long
for in the oceans they will depart.
Tears you've shed because of loss
of someone loved so very much
Those tears I will release for you
and your loved one will keep in touch.
If you have trouble finding them
and your well of tears have dried
bring up the ones deep in your heart
those tears that you've tried to hide.
Give those tears that drag you down
that weigh heavily on your mind
the tears locked up in your past
the ones you are afraid to find.
I will take all the tears you give
and as I release them to the sea
your heart will feel so much lighter
that you gave them unto Me.
Love, Jesus
God bless you all at this time of need. Laura T. Mercier (Blacksburg VA)

Jamie and Shannon, I am so sorry that Aiden has passed away but always remember that he was here for a reason and he had to leave for a reason, God has him in Heaven now and he is smiling and being that happy little boy that I saw last year. He brung many smiles to peoples hearts for I know that he did when I saw him. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this time. Please remember that those that leave at a younger age are the ones that always watch over us and become 'Our Guardian Angels'...

I did not know Aiden. I love the name. I am sorry for your loss. The words don't come easy. I cannot imagine the loss of a sweet child, but there is a reason even though it would be hard to understand. Hold tight to your memories and know he is resting and no longer in pain. I am praying for your comfort.

It's hard to know what to write. Nothing can ease the pain when a child earns his wings. Grandpop Pennock and I grieve right along with you. We've shed many tears and said many prayers for our daughter Shannon and her family. You won't get over this, but you will get passed it. Whenever you think of Aiden...Smile. It really helps.
