To the Siegel Family: It was my great fortune to have worked closely with Bert in the formative years of Trumbull EMS and consider him a true friend... Their are many in the Trumbull community who will join me in morning someone who was as respected and dedicated as Bert was to his family, friends and community... Don Eli

Oh, I am very sad to read this. I had the pleasure of working as a paraprofessional at times in Bert's science classes over the years. I truly enjoyed his classroom. I enjoyed Bert himself. He was a funny guy. Smiles. Rest in peace, Bert. You were a worthwhile human in your years on this Earth.
