He was a very nice man. He let me keep my 68' Firebird in his garage after i wrecked it in HS so Doug & i could work on it.That was 33 years ago.I still have the car and still remember Mr.Keith.I'm sorry he's not with us anymore.

Dear Phyllis, Margaret and I are sad to hear of Luther's death. You are very much in our thoughts and prayers. Luther was a very dear friend of Margaret and I and you also. He was The Backbone of our USS Los Angeles Association. He was always there when I needed help at our Reunions. He never asked what he could do to help, he was standing there with his sleeves rolled up beside me doing what needed to be done. He gave of himself so very much to us in The Association and I for one will miss him. We remember the meeting in Williamsburg and all the work your family put into it. You have a grandchild in South Carolina, if we can ever help in any way call us. Craig Jumper West Columbia, SC

Dear Phyllis, Judy, Karen, Doug, spouses, and and related offspring, I know you will miss Luther. He was a wonderful man who cared for his family and those of us that were fortunate to know him. He'll be missed by many. Your family was like my second childhood family and he was like a second Dad, giving me great memories I'll have the rest of my life. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Aunt Phee, our sympathy to you and your family. Uncle Luther was a special uncle and friend to me. I'm sure the world's going to spin a little slower without him aboard.
