I had the pleasure of knowing Mrs. Sebastian for about 10 yrs.In that short period of time I learned much from her and how she felt about many aspects of life and people through long conversations I was fortunate to have with her.I was fortunate to have been married to her grand daughter without whom I would never have met granny nor been involved with her family and farm...I will always remember granny giving asprins to her rottweiler and golden retriever at night so they wouldn't be in pain and the bird feeder she had on her window in the living room...she was a keeper of the land and would say that all we are are temporary tenders of it and the buildings which encompass it...she was a developer and early pioneer of Lexington and Rockbridge county with her late husband Doc. Sebastian...and I would like to say a great friend of mine..may she Rest In Peace and Jehovah remeber her in the Book of Life....Deepest regards,Byron T. Kacheris and family. Boulder City, Nevada.
