My letter to Peggy ~
You aren't and never will be far away from me in thoughts or closeness, as you were the driving instrument in a lifelong decision I made for myself and my children. Without your "wheels" and initiative, we would have been "Nowheresville" for a much longer time in our lives.
My children call you Aunt Peg ~ I call you an irreplaceable friend and third sister. And I'm grieving so for you now, daily. But I must remember ~ who can forget that mischievious smile and attitude, and the great effort and enthusiasm you always extended into work and life for yourself, family, and others?!?!
I only regret I won't get to stop in Virginia when I'm retired and spend that promised time with you.
Until we're together again, I'll be living with so many lovely, fun-filled memories and thanking God for the blessing of having you in my life.
I'm remembering, loving and missing you ~ always.
~ Sandy

So many great memories of Aunt Peggy ... one of the tiniest women I've ever known but with a personality larger than life.
Amy, Rae, Denise and Diane - my heart is with you all. I've spoken to mom twice on the phone and she's shared some fond memories of she and Peggy's friendship - from the Round Up Ranch to the Red Carpet and beyond. Mom isn't taking this too well, especially that she isn't there to pay her respects to her long time friend and you all.
I will always remember Aunt Peggy and am blessed that she touched my life while I was growing up ... especially with her smile, her energy and the love she showered on me - like a mom.
Would love to hear from my dear friend Amy ~ maybe she'll look me up on Facebook.
With love and respect,
