He was a great friend in high school. He had an incredible sense of humor. We both saw the absurdity of the human condition and the beauty of it.
Rod never had a negative thought.

Rod was a good man. Working with him was a pleasure, both at Southern Internet and later on the Burt Reynolds Museum project. His extraordinary integrity was reflected in everything Rod said and did. He will be missed.

To many he was "just" a great and wonderful man. To me, he was and will always be a brother.
His absence darkens my world, and with his loss goes a piece of my heart. And though I am not the one most impacted by his loss, the depth of that loss would surprise even him.
I will sorely miss you, Rod, though I know that this separation is only temporary. I know that you are waiting -- for Joy, for your family, and perhaps even for me -- and that we will meet again in a place where no shadows fall.

Thank you for letting me know of Rod's passing. He has always been such a happy, vibrant, soul. The love and connection that you share is infinite. I am sad that I am not there to be with you.
