Lillian Bott Obituary

Lillian Carol Bott, 66, of Salem, passed away Monday, April 18, 2011. She was born October 3, 1944, in Roanoke, daughter of the late Jesse James Fisher Sr. and Charlotte Virginia Owens Fisher. She was also preceded in death by her husband, John Wayne "Tucker" Bott. Mrs. Bott was a homemaker and a member of the Wabun Congregational Holiness Church. She is survived by a son, Danny Wayne Bott and wife, Amy Michelle; daughters, Lisa Carol Bott, Sharon Fay Bott and fiancé, Jimmy, and Tammy Lynn Mills and husband, Thomas; brothers, Curtis Fisher and wife, Janice, Jesse Fisher Sr. and wife, Elizabeth, Frank Fisher and wife, Tina, Tommy Fisher and wife, Shelby, Clyde Fisher and wife, Patty, and Raymond Fisher; sisters, Barbara Doyle and husband, Sam, Blanche McCue and husband, Walter and Joyce Falls; 17 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday, April 21, 2011, at the chapel of John M. Oakey and Son, Salem with the Rev. Buck Yopp officiating. Interment will follow at the Botts Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. The family would like to especially thank Joyce and Blanche for their loving care given to mom during her illness.
