One of my fondest childhood memories was traveling to Roanoke from Marion with my family and visiting the Clingenpeels, Annie, Emmett, Robert and Ira. We played Rook cards every time and visited the Planter's Peanut store and downtown stores where there was an escalator (really cool for a kid in the 60's)and a cafeteria for lunch. They were a great family and I will miss Robert even though I did not see him much in my adult years. Memories are forever. Brenda Russell Norton
