Wanda Hylton Obituary

Wanda F. Hylton, 70, of Salem, Va., was born on September 23, 1939, and passed away on Saturday, June 26, 2010. She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred Raymond and Josie Hylton; three brothers; and one sister. Her surviving family includes her son, David Joseph Cheatham, of Salem; grandchildren, Kailey June Cheatham and Kerra Josephine Cheatham; brother, Harold (Pick) Hylton, of Coalwood, W.Va.; and sisters, Lorraine Rose, Phyllis R. Novak, Regina H. Adams, all of Coalwood, W.Va., Mary Puckett, of Salem, and Edie Spencer, of Roanoke. A Graveside Service will be held 11 a.m. on Wednesday, June 30, 2010, at Sherwood Memorial Park in Salem. Online condolences to the family may be made at johnmoakey.com. Joey - even though we couldn't be there with you during this time, just know that we're thinking about you and praying for the hurt to ease. Lean on the family and trust in God, the hurt will ease and the good memories will last a life time. Take care of yourself and the girls. Love, Becky

My love and condolences go to all the family. Wanda gave so much to so many. I loved and appreciated her friendship for 45 years. I will always miss her.
