Boulton Ivin Obituary

Boulton Ivin, 84, of Union Hall, Va., passed away on Sunday, April 25, 2010. Mr. Ivin served three years in the United States Navy during World War II. He was past president of the Masonic Lodge of Easton, Maryland and a member of the Forestry Board for ten years. He was an avid ballroom dancer and excelled at designing furniture and upholstery. Surviving are his wife, Lois Ivin; children and spouses, Barbara Koziczynski (Stanley), Donna Souren (David), Richard Freer (Connie), and Michael Freer; grandchildren, Melanie, Alison, Mark, Michael, Matthew, Derek, Erin, Lindsey, and Kyle; three greatgrandchildren; and one sister, Evelyn Dieterle. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Christ Community Church, 14900 Old Franklin Turnpike, Penhook, Va. 24137. Memorial services will be conducted 6 p.m. on Thursday, April 29, 2010, from Christ Community Church with Pastor Ed McClain officiating. His family will be receiving friends from 2 to 4 p.m. on Thursday at Lynch Conner-Bowman Funeral Home, 140 Floyd Ave., Rocky Mount, Va., 540-483-5533. www.lynchconnerbowman.com
