Mr. Mann's passing is such a sad surprise to me. We thought an angel like him would always be with us. He was always such a comfort to our family (THE BRADLEY'S) when we needed him, no task was too big or small for him. He only wanted to make things easier for grieving families. Now I send HIS family my deepest sympathy.

Working with Carl always made me smile. His witty humor, our long talks, even when he called me to come in and help him on my days off I still couldn't help but smile. Carl just had a way of putting happiness in a person's heart. I have so many good memories of him and I'm grateful for having had his friendship for so many years... I love you Carl and I'll look up and wave to you in heaven every chance I get.

What a dear man...I will always have fond memories of Mr Mann. I would catch the bus at his house with Carla when I was in middle school, so I had the opportunity to know him well. I have also had the blessing of having him serve our family when we have lost people dear to us. He would always fill me in on what Carla was doing and how she was. Please know that I will be thinking of you all in the days, weeks, years to come. Our loss is Heaven's gain.

As a twenty year old kid that didn’t know anything about the funeral business, Carl took me under his wing and patiently taught me what he knew. Carl always said: “This business is all about the details.” He always paid attention to the details and served each family as if they were his own family. Carl taught me how to sacrificially serve others by practicing this in front of me. It was nothing to see Carl serving a family on Christmas Day, his day off, or late in the afternoon. Being a funeral director was more than a job to Carl-it was a ministry. He loved what he did and it showed in how he served his families.

I have lost a wonderful mentor and friend, and the funeral business has lost one of the greats that can never be replaced.

My thoughts and prayers are with all of the family during this most difficult time.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. Carl was a dear, dear friend to my parents, Robert and Geraldine Lafon, and they loved him dearly. Carl was such a comfort to me and my family when my Dad died in 1985 and when my mother died in 2008, and we were so comforted knowing that Carl was handling all the details of their funerals with such great care, love, dignity and comfort. He will be missed but not forgotten!

It is so hard to know what to say at a time like this. Carl was so much more to me, and my entire family, than just a friend, he was family. Both of my parents worked with Carl at Lotz and we all loved and admired him very much. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family during this difficult time. May God wrap his loving arms around each of you and help to ease the pain that you feel. May it comfort you to know that he will still be watching over you. Thank you all so much for sharing this wonderful man with all of us. Our lives have been richly blessed just by knowing him.

My heart goes out to Carl's family. You have lost a truly wonderful man and we have lost a genuinely caring co-worker. Carl always had a smile on his face and we will miss that! My Dad (Barry Garnett) worked with Carl as well and thought so much of him. After Daddy passed away Carl never ceased to ask me how my mom and brothers and I were doing regardless of what was going on or how busy he was. Just goes to show what a thoughtful person he was. I am truly sorry for your loss and will greatly miss Carl's smiling face and gentle spirit! God bless you all!
