I'll never forget that funny little man so full of energy who came to my house to talk about his library and then left with some of my books for his library and a $100.00 check.
I was awed at how brave Ed was especially when he got arrested in in the early 2000's in Florida demonstrating at an equal rights rally and he had a heart condition too. It made the Roanoke Times.
I wish more people could be that brave.

Ed was such a dear soul and missed by those whose lives he touched. He is remembered on this day with love.
