Jan, Twila
I am sorry for the loss of your mother. I had lunch with her a few times and attended a concert with her in the last few years. She was a special lady. We shared a connection as cat lovers. I got to "re-know" her from her acquaintance with my sister and brother in law, Davida and Larry Monahan. My sympathy, again,

To Twila, Jan & family, Eileen was a lovely lady & such a help to me during my stay in the Music Dept @ Hollins College in the 70's. Twila, I remember teaching you at some point during that time. Your Mother was so proud of both of you. I enjoyed connecting with her for a short time after I moved back to Roanoke. We enjoyed attending Jim Leland's recital @ Christ Church. Please accept my sincere sympathy. She was truly a beautiful lady with an unforgettable smile, & will be missed by many. Much love, Ann (Argabright) Berlin.

Dear Twila and Jan and families,
Your mother was the epitome of a Southern lady. She was just a classy and elegant hostess. I am so happy I was able to attend her retirement party to witness all the love she had from so many!
God Bless you all..Know that she is dancing a wonderful tango with your dad now in heaven.
God Bless

To Twila and Jan, Your mother was a lovely lady whom I knew over the years
in many Roanoke Valley activities; as
well as being a fellow amanuensis at
Hollins during a part of her tenure.
She will be missed by many of us.
