Harold Shelton Obituary

Harold Aster Shelton, 73, of Roanoke, Va., went home to be with his Lord on Friday, November 12, 2010. He was preceded in death by his wife, Shelia Ann Shelton; parents, Ulysses Grant Shelton and Ruby Ethel Shelton; brothers, Grover Alfred Shelton and Elmer Ray Shelton; and sister, Annie Shelton Dickerson. Surviving are his children, Roger Alan Shelton, Kendall Lee Shelton and Glenda Sue Shelton; grandchildren, Hiliary Marie, Alan Jarret and Julia Michelle; brother, Dallas Monroe Shelton; sister, Thelma Faye Shelton Bolt; brother, Herbert (Herb) Shelton Jr. and brother, Roy Lee Shelton; and beloved and devoted friends, Nina and Stewart Bethel. Funeral services will be at noon on Tuesday, November 16, 2010, at Oakey's North Chapel. Pastor Everett Craft will officiate. Interment will be in Sherwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, November 15, 2010, at Oakey's North Chapel, 540-362-1237.
