Mother Downs (whom I called granny) was a classy, God-fearing, full of wisdom woman of God that will be greatly missed. I loved to talk with her because she always made me laugh and when I found out she was sick, I made my way to see her. I will never forget our last time together. I will never forget that awesome peach cobbler she used to make. To the family, she is gone but never will we forget her. She has touched so many lives.
