Kathy: I was shocked to hear the news about Jimmy. He and I were in the tropical plant business in the 70's and had a wonderful partnership/friendship. I still have people come to me and ask how Jimmy is doing. I have not seen him in about 5 years but did know that he was living in Roanoke. If you have Linda's contact information I would like to have it. Jimmy will certainly be missed - he was a fine fellow. My deepest sympathy to you and your sons.

Jim was someone you could count on. He gave his perspective and his opinion without prejudice. He could be called on a moments notice and ready to lend a hand or ear pending the need. I think highly of Mr. Lewis and he always bragged about his sons. He loved to show off a mixed martial art tape from when his sons were younger. He also spoke highly of his sister and his friends. He loved where he lived and strived to improve the location. Jim loved music and was a people person. He was a good friend and will be missed. God Bless my friend.
