Lorrie FENN Obituary
Lorrie was born March 14, 1983 in Charleston, W.Va. She graduated from South Charleston High School in 2001 and attended Marshall University pursuing a degree in graphic design. She moved to Brooklyn, N.Y. in 2006 and to Floyd, in 2008. Lorrie recently opened her own business called Lorrie Creates with an office in the Town of Floyd.
She was a very talented young lady with a love for life that knew no bounds. She adored her husband and their life together. Lorrie is so loved by so many and will be greatly missed by all that knew her.
Funeral services will be held at Zion Lutheran Church in Floyd, on Sunday, March 17, 2013 at 3 p.m. with visitation 1 hour prior to the service and at Keller Funeral Home in Dunbar, W.Va. on Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at 11 a.m. also with visitation 1 hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers please send donations in honor of Lorrie to the American Heart Association or Ronald McDonald House.

Lorrie was a driving force in my weight loss journey. After the birth of my daughter in the fall of 2011, I would read her entries for comfort and insight. I was able to loose 200lbs with the tips and insights Lorrie posted. Out of the blue today I thought about her & googled her blog and found out about her passing. I can't say enough about the comfort she brought me during my journey. She will me missed!

I never met Lorrie but through her blog I came to appreciate her many talents and love for life. It was and always will be inspiring. Lorrie's words travelled the world touching many.

I'm yet another person who felt like she knew Lorrie because of the honest, brave way she shared her life through her blogging. I aspire to be more like her--more willing to put myself out there and chase my dreams. Thanks for the lessons in living, Lorrie. May you rest in peace.

Lorrie and I never met, but I followed her blog that inspired me to start mine a few years ago. Her honest writing, style, and zest for life was an inspiration. I wrote a post about her here. http://skinnyemmie.com/2013/03/mortality/

Such a beautiful, talented and truly good person. Lorrie was so warm and full of life. Her laugh was most certainly contagious. Such a massive loss, not only for her loving husband and wonderful family, but also for her friends and everyone her beautiful spirit touched.

What a tradegy. Lorrie loved life and was so beautiful and talented. I always peeked at what she was doing to get ideas and inspiration. My heart breaks for Her husband, family and large circle of friends. Her passing leaves such a void in their lives.
