Cunningham family:
Martha and Chesley were such wonderful examples of living a life of Faith in the Lord and Family. I treasure my memories with them and all of you greatly. I pray for peace to fill your hearts, as you know that they are not gone, but just on a wonderful journey to their Heavenly reward. Love to all,

What a beautiful obituary. Mrs. Cunningham was a wonderful person to me while growing up in Roanoke. I spent many nights in the Cunningham household and was always welcome. Both Mr. & Mrs. Cunningham seemed to have lived a full and wonderful life together. I'm sure she will be missed.

Martha was such a wonderful person. Always full of life and energy, she was always helping other people and dearly cherished her family and friends. I met Martha when Ches and my mom, Beulah, went to the Liberty Center together. We had so much in common as we were both taking care of stroke victims and their strokes were very similar. Martha and Ches both quickly became dear friends of my family and will never be forgotten. My thoughts and prayers are with you today and in the future.

Sorry about the loss of this very special lady whom I grew to know and love during Chesley's time at the Veterans Care Center. She will be absolutely missed but is rejoicing in her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and being with her loving husband for eternity. My prayers go out to the family who was truly taught how to love and to express that love to each other.
