Nancy Campbell Obituary

Nancy Foutz Campbell, 69, of Salem, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 28, 2010. She passed at her home with family at her bedside to which she was very dedicated and loved dearly. Nancy enjoyed selling Avon for several years as well as working as a caterer for Ray Miller Auctioneer and was a faithful member of Temple Baptist Church. Nancy is preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Christine Foutz; brother, Samuel Foutz; and a sister, Shirley Chitwood. She is survived by her devoted husband of 49 years, Steve Campbell, Salem; as well as siblings, Edward H. and Brenda Foutz, Patsy and Buster Beckner, both of Salem, Russell Foutz, of Roanoke, and Lester and Margeret Foutz, of Christiansburg; as well as nieces, nephews, and cousins of whom all were very special to her; as well as family of the heart, Vanessa Phillips, James Lutz and Robert Lutz. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the Amedisys Hospice Services for all their kindness and loving care. A memorial service will be conducted at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at Temple Baptist Church, with Pastor Greg Irby officiating, prior to visitation at Lotz Salem Chapel from 11 a.m. to 12 noon, followed by a graveside service at Sherwood Memorial Park.
