To the Matthews Family - I am praying for you all during this difficult time. I have fond memories of Mr. Bill and his jokes. He was always ready to give a sax selection on anyone's church program. I'm sure he and uncle buck are playing a duet together and laughing. That thought makes me smile and I hope that it will bring a smile to your face. With Love -Anissa Brown

I was saddened to hear Mr. Bill passed away. I will always remember how he loved to play his sax. He will always to remember for his soulful solos and the sprit that you filled when he played, now he can play for our father God and our big brother Jesus. Ashley, Hope, Willian and Anna Safewright

Words can not capture the awesome ways of Uncle William. He alway had a smile and jokes that usually took me a few minutes to get. He would smile and ask, "Did you get it?" If my response was, "No." This included a confused look. He would tell the joke again and I had to laugh. So Uncle William and am sending you a smile for the many that you have given me and the rest of the world. You had a way of leaving a lasting impression. I love you family.
