Paul L. Gluth

Paul Lanford Gluth, 62, of Daleville, Va., departed this life on Saturday, August 15, 2009. He will be sadly missed by his beloved wife, Bonnie Gluth; daughter and son-in-law, Mary Catherine and Scott Mullins; four grandchildren, Matthew, Maggie, Gabrielle, and Sawyer; brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Ann Gluth; father-in-law, Dillard Richards; sister-in-law, Janet Richards; a very special nephew, Rick Gluth; and many great friends. Paul was retired from Norfolk Southern Railroad. He loved the outdoors and spent much time hunting, fishing, and gardening. Paul found great enjoyment in entertaining and cooking for others. Virginia Tech football was a passion of his and he attended the games for many years. A memorial service, conducted by the Rev. Irving Glover, will be held 10 a.m. on Saturday, August 22, 2009, in the Daleville Church of the Brethren. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 21, 2009, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Buchanan Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home, 14920 Lee Highway, Buchanan, Va., 540-254-3000.
