To the family of Lt. General Vaughan: I was the General's driver when he was a Colonel and the Commanding Officer of the Quartermaster Market Center in Frankfurt, Germany from June, 1956 until September,1957. I drove the "Colonel" to Heidelberg several times. I also picked him up every morning at home and drove him to work. On occasion, I took Mrs. Vaughan shopping. It was an honor and privilege to have served under him.
