Brenda Sue Morrison

Brenda Sue Morrison, 66, of Christiansburg, died Friday, December 31, 2010 at her home. She was born in Pearisburg, Va. on October 5, 1944 to the late French Everett "Mack" Matthew and Nellie Mae Boothe Tabor. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Eugene Morrison. Brenda was the co-owner of Good Looks in Radford and was a devoted mother and grandmother and was one of the best cooks ever. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Maleah M. and Ben Hale, of Radford; a son, Matt Morrison, of Fairlawn; a sister and brother-in-law, Barbara and Frank Martin, of Christiansburg; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Harry and Nancy Tabor, of Richmond, Michael Tabor, of Christiansburg; grandchildren, Ragan and Daniel Hale, of Radford; and a nephew and his spouse, Chris and Blythe Tabor. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 2840 Electric Road, Suite 106A, Roanoke, VA 24018. The family will receive friends from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, January 2, 2011 at McCoy Funeral Home, 150 Country Club Dr., Blacksburg.
