John (Turkey) and I sat together in Mr. Wygal's agriculture classes at Dublin High School. I remember him being a lot of fun and involved with me in a few "unauthorized" sculpture projects in shop class.

John was a true gem and a very intelligent man. In this lifetime we meet many people but when one met John then they knew immediately they had a friend. May the butterflies we see in the summer always remind us of how dear John was to each of us that knew him.
