Sallie Viverette Obituary

ENFIELD - Sallie Fisher Viverette, 90, passed away in Fayetteville, NC on September 7, 2011 at Highland House. She was born on July 15, 1921 and was the daughter of the late Bessie and George Fisher of Whitakers, NC. Sallie grew up in Whitakers and lived in Enfield after marriage until she moved to Fayetteville in 1999. She was predeceased by her husband, Raymond R. Viverette, Sr. and her brothers, George and Charles Fisher, and her sisters, Margaret Hengeveld, Eunice Robinson, Carror Holden, Betsy Taylor and Rosa Peterson.
She is survived by her children: Ruth Bellamy and husband, Rodger; Raymond Viverette, Jr. and wife, Virginia; George Viverette and wife, Sheryl, and Sallie Bailey. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Virginia Flores and husband , Richard; Thomas Viverette and wife, Brandy; Michelle Wenzel and husband, Brandon; April Viverette; Ashley Bailey; and Matthew Viverette; step-grandchildren: Rawnie Obrigewitch, Stacy Bellamy and wife, Jody; great-grand children: Tyler Viverette; Brevin Flores; Reece Flores; step-grandchildren: Lindsay Almazon and husband, Michael; Jace Bellamy; Nicholas Obrigewitch; Jenifer Obrigewitch; and Leyton Bellamy; step-great-great grandson: Aidan Almazon and step-great-great granddaughter, Siena Almazon. Also, she is survived by many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 2 pm Sunday, September 11, 2011 at Johnson Funerals and Cremations on English Road. The family will receive friends one prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that any donations be made to Community Home Care and Hospice, 5301 Morganton Road, Fayetteville, NC 28314 or to a charity of choice.
