I met Carol 40 years ago playing tennis and she remained a strong player and friend ever since. She entertained some of us "tennis" friends at her beautiful home in Dutch Flat with her dining table set to the hilt.
We are so fortunate to have had Carol in our lives.

I knew Carol when I was growing up in Gold Run. Carol was one of "the ladys" we kids all thought was so pretty. She always dressed to the nines, and you wanted to be like her when you grew up. She will be missed Martha Rivers (Fitch)

We met Carol briefly on a visit to Dutch Flat with Gail and George Barstow in 2000 when we were visiting from Australia. We found Carol to be a delightful lady, full of warmth, high spirit and fun, whom we felt we had known forever. The world and her close family will be much the poorer for her passing. Rest in peace, Carol.

I've known Carol since I was about 10 years old. She was my best friend Gail's stepmom. We spent many summer's
at the old house in Dutch Flat where Carol would try to corral our spirit of
adventure and to keep us out of trouble! Over the years she continued to be a part of my life. A special woman, full of charm and always a very wonderful friend.

Words cannot capture Carol's spirit. She had great empathy, and enthusiasm as she pursued life with integrity and grace. Carol, rest in peace, knowing that your love remains with us.

Carol's spirit cannot be captured in words, and is now on a journey, that we cannot yet make. She possessed an empathy for all around her and pursued life with enthusiasm and integrity. We are all better for the time we spent with her. God bless and keep you, Carol.

We were all so blessed to have "Sweetie" in our lives. She was a dear Mom to me, and my siblings, and "Sweetie" to my children, grandchildren and great-gramdchildren. She was our dearest friend, and will be greatly missed.
