Cliff was a straight shooter. I enjoyed working on projects with him from time to time. He and his crews did a lot of valuable work.

I first met Cliff soon after I started work for Placer County Water Agency in the Power System Division in June, 1983. From some years before I arrived through the New Year's flood of 1997, Cliff provided great service in numerous heavy repair and maintenance projects, many performed due to floods. I greatly appreciate all he taught me. (Steve Jones)
