Dianne Penney, 79, died peacefully September 27, 2010 at home in Granite Bay surrounded by loving family members after a valiant battle against cancer. She was preceded in death by her devoted husband Richard.
Dianne was sweet, strong and feisty right until the end. She loved family vacations and always looked forward to the next family gathering. Frequent trips to Disney with her family were a special joy.
Born to George and Ethel Murphy, August 13, 1931 in LA. She spent her early years in the Boston area until her family relocated to Roseville and she graduated from Roseville High.
She is survived by her children Glinda Penney, Keith Penney (Monica), and Laurene Davis (David). She is also survived by granddaughters Jennifer DeDora (Paul) and Amy Duran (Brian) and her grandsons Ian, Sean and Kurt Penney. Dianne was a loving great-grandmother of Jason, Alora, Travis, Lucas, Benjamin and Owen.
Services were held.
