Born August 30, 1913 in Rockwood, TN. Went to be with the Lord Friday, November 12, 2010 at 97 years old. Survived by his wife of 63 years, Marilyn McCulley, and son Alan McCulley. Beloved grandpa to Alicen Arsenault and Samantha Smith and great-grampy to Genevieve, Malachi, and Miriam. Jay enjoyed fishing, playing tennis, bowling, watching baseball, and playing cards. He and Marilyn camped and fished together and he bowled on a league with Alan until he was 89. Grandpa Jay was the one to teach both Samantha and Alicen to play many card games. Jay was known for his sense of humor and witty sayings. He was an animal lover and he and Marilyn always had at least one pet. Jay was kind to everyone and a loving husband. He will be missed by all.
