Julian Gome, 91, pased away on Saturday, November 13, 2010, at Auburn's Colonial Health Care, with his daughter, Charlotte and son-in-law Joe Hernandez at his side.
Julian was born in Trinchera, Colorado, on October 23, 1919. He worked as an auto mechanic and was an avid NASCAR fan all his life. He owned several auto shops and built his own race car, which he raced throughout California. He also served in the U.S. Army. Julian raised his three children with his wife, Margaret, in the Bay Area before returning to his native Colorado. He spent the last five years in Northern California to be near his family.
Julian leaves behind his daughter, Charlotte Hernandez, and son-in-law Joe Hernandez
of Auburn, daughter, Dede Bernauer, and son-in-law, Ray Bernauer of Tracy, and son Jay Gomez of Hayward. His grandchildren include, Chantel Hernandez Wood, and husband Dale Wood, Jodi Escobedo Hernandez, and husband Victor Escobedo, Monica Seierup and husband Erik Seierup, Amy Bernauer and Jason Gomez. Julian was a great grandfather to Zachary Oliver, Jolan Wood, Chance and Alex Wood, Jose and Mateo Escobedo, and Arlana and Trinity Seierup.
His family will hold a burial service at the VA Cemetery in Dixon, California.

Lo siento mucho por su perdida. Que bueno es que la Biblia nos da una esperanza tan maravillosa en que nuestros seres queridos puedan volver a vivir otra vez.
