Rosella Thornsberry Obituary

Rosella Lee Gudgel Thornsberry passed away Sunday, October 31, 2010 at her home in Chico, California surrounded by her loving husband of 63 years and close family members. She was born November 22, 1926 in Gainesville, Texas to Lloyd Lewis and Cecile Jennie Garret Gudgel.
Rosella is survived by her husband Doyal Thornsberry and siblings: Verlin Seaman, Loering Gudgel, Bob Gudgel, Dale Kaiser, and Pat Gasich. Forever in her heart are her children: daughters Linda Hartman and husband Bill of Davis, Kathy Ellinghouse of Chico, Susan Pool and husband Rod of Chico and Woodland, and son Stan Thornsberry and wife Cindy of Auburn. She will be remembered lovingly by her grandchildren: Brian Pool and wife Nikki, Kelly Pool Hernandez and husband Bert, Steven Pool and wife Sarah, Tara Thornsberry, Lindsay Hartman, Lisa Pool Hicklin and husband Aric, Andrew Hartman and Ashley Thornsberry along with great-grandchildren Evann Pool, Lucien Pool, Ian Hernandez and Brannon Hicklin. Rosella is preceded in death by her parents, eldest brother LeRoy Gudgel, and son-in-law Robert Ellinghouse.
Family and friends are welcome to celebrate Rosella's life at an open house luncheon December 12, 2010 at Waite Hall, 1250 Gum Avenue, Woodland, CA.

Dearest Kathy, Susan ..and Your Lovely Families...I am so sorry to hear of your Mother's passing.
