Verona Price Obituary

Verona Delores Price
9/4/1931 - 11/6/2010

Verona Price passed away at Auburn Sutter Hospital, Saturday November 6, 2010, at 2:55 p.m. Her husband Cecil of 58 years, daughter Patricia, son Gregory and his wife, Kathy were at her side.
Verona was born to Michael and Mary Walters in Carter, South Dakota on September 4, 1931. She was the epitome of a perfect mother and wife. Two of her favorite pastimes were fishing and bowling. In 1986 she was a member of the Rocketts bowling team. She traveled all over the United States by motor home for thirty years and had been active in the Family Motor Coach Association. The most important thing in her life was her family and her love for them was immeasurable. Verona was so loved by all her family and friends and will be missed more than words can express.
Her parents, ten siblings and her granddaughter, Teresa, preceded her in death. Verona is survived by her loved ones that were at her side, her son, James, as well as her brothers, Harold Walters, Carl Walters, sister, Olga Ehlers (100 years old), four grandchildren, two great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at the Parkside Nazarene Church, 3885 Richardson Drive, Auburn, Saturday, November 20, 2010 at 11 a.m. A gathering of family and friends after the service will follow.
