DEAR PAT AND ALL YOUR FAMILY,
WHAT WONDERFUL MEMORIES I HAVE OF THE TIME MY CHILDREN (CHAD & MATTHEW ARNOLD) SPENT AT WEE CARE. THE STORIES YOUR MOM COULD TELL. MY FAVORITE WAS THE STORY SHE TOLD ABOUT A DAY WHEN THE KIDS CAME IN FROM OUTSIDE PLAY AND WERE NOISY AND NOT LISTENING, SHE TOLD THE KIDS THAT SHE WANTED EVERYONE QUIT OR THE NEXT ONE TO TALK WOULD HAVE TROUBLE, AND OF COURSE OF ONE THEM DID AND MATTHEW PIPED UP WITH A "WELL EKSTROM, WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO ABOUT IT?" SHE WAS SO TICKLED AS SHE TOLD ME ABOUT IT LATER THAT DAY. WE ALWAYS SAID SHE HAD MORE THAN A BOOK'S WORTH OF STORIES TO WRITE. GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY AND COMFORT YOUR WITH LOVING MEMORIES.

Pat & Roseanne, I enjoyed my Aunt Marvel all the time we stayed in Phoenix for the winter (7 months). She was always so happy and jovial. She used to come to our park to play Bingo some Fridays. We will miss her as she is the last of our relatives for that era. I hope we will not lose contact with you . Much love and lots of prayers, Your cousin, Doris Principe.

Dear Pat,
I will never forget when SAH Alumi began the first on-site child care at Swedes...Wee Care. We were blessed to "find" Marvel for our director.
She was Marvel-ous ! She was an exceptional person, she will be missed. May God comfort you with memories of a wonderful Mom.
Sincerely,

To the family of Marvel Ekstrom-Dohrman,
The Don and Judy Holder family (Daughter: Krista Marie Holder, 1974, and son Jason Matthew Holder, 1977. Both children were graduates of Wee Care Nursery) send our heartfilled Sympathy and Condolescences. Mrs. Ekstrom was like a second mother to our family. We have so many many fond memories of our "adventure" at Wee Care. She was a wonderful lady, amazing in every way. Our prayers go with your family.
Lovingly, Don and Judy Holder
