Adelia Larson

ADELIA LARSON, 93 ROCKFORD - Adelia Larson, 93, of Rockford passed away at 5:35 p.m. Monday, May 30, 2011, in P.A. Peterson Home. Born in 1917 in Rockford, the daughter of Vito and Maria Martellaro. She lived her entire life in Rockford. She married Gustav A. Larson on Feb. 27, 1949, in South Bend, Ind.; he died June of 1979. She was employed as a library aide by Rockford Public Schools for 20 years. Member of St. Anthony Church. Adelia graduated from Rockford Central High School. Survivors include daughter, Mary Conway; son, Lou (Debra) Larson; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Betty Martellaro; and numerous nephews and cousins. Predeceased by her parents and siblings. Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Friday, June 3, at St. Anthony Church, with visitation from 9 a.m. to time of service; Franciscan Friars will officiate.
