ANTHONY J. MALVESTI, 54 ROCKFORD - Anthony J. Malvesti, 54, died Thursday, June 2, 2011, from a lengthy illness, surrounded by his loving family. Born Nov. 6, 1956, in Rockford, the son of Harry J. and Yvette C. (Brien) Malvesti Sr. He was proud to have served in the U.S. Army. Survivors include sons, Mark and Erik Malvesti; sister, Joan (Kendall Johnson) Files; sister, Shirley (Chuck) Davies; brother, Michael Malvesti; sister, Susan (James Robert Sr.) Williams; sister, Maria (Paul) Bremer; sister, Angela (Earl) Peterson; and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents and brother, Harry J. Malvesti Jr. Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 7, in St. James Church, 428 N. Second St. Burial in Cedar Bluff Cemetery. Visitation from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, June 6, in Honquest Family Funeral Home with Crematory, Rockford Chapel, 4311 N.
