Jeff..David, My sister Kathy and I were both deeply saddened to learn of Avis' recent passing. Ever since those wonderful days in Park Forest, Avis has always been someone very special to all of us as was Sy. Our condolences for your very great loss.

I met Sy and Avis a few times in St. Louis and recognized them as "persons of quality" Their survivibg family members can take comfort that they are now together in Christ.

Janet, I so wished I could have joined you today for the send off of your mother. Her pain and suffering is gone as she is with her beloved. You all are in my prayers at this time of loss. I was fortunate enough to be one of Avis' loving friends,playing bridge, and having a cup of tea, and many deep conversations. She will be missed and thought of dearly as she goes on to be with Sy.
