Clementine Harrington Obituary

CLEMENTINE 'CLEO' HARRINGTON, 65 ROCKFORD - Clementine "Cleo" E. Harrington, 65, of Rockford departed this earthly life Sunday, May 22, 2011, after a long illness. Born Oct. 12, 1945, in Louisiana, Mo., the daughter of Clemis T. Harrington and Lucille Mackey. Clementine lived more than 30 years in the Rockford area, coming from Peoria. Clementine will be remembered for her love of decorating, gardening and entertaining. Clementine leaves to cherish the love of her life, her son, Edward Harrington (Loleatha); brothers, Johnny Saunders, Earl Doby and Pernell King, all of Peoria; sisters, Kathryn Harrington, Mary Harrington and Rosie Buchanan of Rockford, and Fannie Massey of Peoria; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Predeceased by parents; two sisters; and two brothers. Service at 1 p.m. Friday, June 3, at St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church, 2919 19th St., Rockford, with visitation from 11 a.m. to time of service; Pastor Rev. Dr. Louis E. Malone will officiate. Arrangements by Collins & Stone Funeral Home.

To my special auntie you will truely be missed even though i wasnt around like everybody else but wen i was i enjoyed the time we shared and even tho i didnt tel u i love you often i love you and always will im sorry i didnt say it and come around more i remember one thanksgiving i called u out the blue i could hear the excitement in your voice it brung tears to my eyes and i started to think bout what it use to be like when the family was close and that is how you shall be remembered my love!I LOVE YOU AUNT CLEO AKA AUNT CLEM!
